It is the first day in Anchorage Alaska. Not a lot to see. The temperature is 35. The attached pictures are named to describe the picture view. The most interesting is the picture of 4th street. There is "no snow" on the ground. This is where the Iditarod dogsled race will start. There is snow being brought in by the ton from Fairbanks via the Alaska railroad. The street will close down at 4PM today and by the start tomorrow it will have been completely filled with snow. The picture of Tim and I next to the cook statue is overlooking cook inlet.

There are more interesting pictures to come.

It gets sunrise here about 8:30 AM but it is like dusk all day until 6:00PM.

Going to get lunch looking for some moose chili. ;-)
